RoleCraft AI helps users analyze, improve, and generate career documents such as resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn profile feedback, role insights, job-specific packages, and job roadmaps. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

Information We Collect

We may collect the following information when you use RoleCraft AI:

• Account information, such as your email address and Firebase user ID.
• Resume, cover letter, LinkedIn, job description, and career profile content that you enter or upload.
• Generated app content, such as resume analyses, role suggestions, job matches, roadmaps, and saved versions.
• Usage and entitlement information, such as free trial usage, monthly quotas, subscription status, and add-on usage.
• Purchase information provided through Google Play Billing, such as product IDs, purchase state, and purchase tokens.
• Generated-content reports that you submit when you flag unsafe, offensive, misleading, or inappropriate output.
• Technical information needed to operate the service, such as device-generated identifiers, request metadata, diagnostic information, and error details.
• When ads are shown, advertising data collected by Google Mobile Ads, such as advertising identifiers, IP-address-derived approximate location, ad interactions, crash logs, diagnostics, and app-performance information.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Provide, personalize, and improve resume and career-related features.
• Process uploaded or entered content with AI services and return results to you.
• Save your documents, analyses, usage limits, and account state.
• Authenticate users and protect accounts from unauthorized access.
• Manage subscriptions, purchases, free trials, quotas, and premium access.
• Review generated-content reports and respond to support, privacy, billing, and deletion requests.
• Maintain app security, diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

AI Processing

Content you submit, including resumes, job descriptions, LinkedIn profile text, and career details, may be sent to third-party AI providers through our backend service, including providers used for OCR, analysis, and generation, so that RoleCraft AI can extract text, analyze content, generate recommendations, and produce career documents. Do not submit information that you do not want processed for these purposes.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help operate the app, including:

• Firebase services for authentication, database storage, and app infrastructure.
• Cloudflare Workers for backend routing and request processing.
• AI service providers, including Mistral and Google Gemini, for text extraction, analysis, and document generation.
• Google Play services for subscriptions, purchases, and payment-related processing.
• Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to serve, measure, and protect advertising.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the public, or our services.

Advertising

RoleCraft AI may show banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads through Google Mobile Ads. When an ad is requested or displayed, Google Mobile Ads may collect and process advertising identifiers, IP-address-derived approximate location, ad interactions, and technical or diagnostic information. This information is used for ad delivery and measurement, analytics, and fraud prevention. Google Mobile Ads processes this information under its own privacy policies and controls.

Data Storage and Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user information. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Your saved app data is stored in Firebase and protected by account-based access controls.

Data Retention and Deletion

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the app, maintain your account, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You can delete your account data in the app from Settings by tapping Delete my account data, or request deletion by contacting us. Some records may be retained where required for security, legal, billing, fraud prevention, or compliance reasons.

Children's Privacy

RoleCraft AI is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Your Choices

You can choose what resume, profile, job, and career information you provide. You can stop using the app at any time. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through Google Play, restore eligible purchases in the app, report generated content from result screens or Settings, and request access, correction, or deletion of personal information associated with your account.

International Processing

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than where you live. These countries may have different data protection laws than your location.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and provide notice where required by law.
